Frequently Asked Questions
How do we select a student for sponsorship?

-
We conduct a thorough background verification of the student and their family, considering factors such as rural or tribal background, single-parent status, or being below the poverty line.
-
We ensure the child's interest in pursuing education by directly communicating with the child, parents, or teachers.
-
Before sponsoring, we obtain all academic reports from the school or college and ensure the student has achieved a minimum score of 60% in all subjects.
-
We approach the school or college principal to discuss the student's background and explore the possibility of scholarships or discounts.
-
Sponsorship is granted based on a case-by-case basis, providing between 50-70% coverage of fees, with the expectation of shared responsibility from parents or guardians.
-
Scholarships are exclusively offered to government and government-aided schools and colleges starting this year
How does the sponsored amount reach the student?

-
We never disburse the sponsored amount directly to the student or their guardian.
-
Instead, we pay it directly to the educational institution to prevent misuse of funds.
-
We also keep in track the academic progress through periodic checks with the school, college, teachers, and parents.
Will I receive a receipt for my sponsorship and tax exemption?
Yes, you will receive a receipt and Form 10BE for your contribution, which can be claimed against 80G when filing your income tax returns.
